Live Steam - Our Workshop

My father Paul is currently building an SAR Class GMAM Garratt in 1" scale (3.5" gauge) . Here are the tools and equipment he has used over the years. If you are new to modelling and / or live steam, it will give you and idea of what tools and equipment you would require to get your project underway. It is important that you plan your project around what workshop and equipment you have access to. Certainly, if we had bigger equipment, the GMAM would have at least been in 1.5" scale (5.0" gauge).
